New Maruti Swift Dzire Specifications

Maruti Swift Dzire is the entry level sedan of world famous automaker Maruti Suzuki Limited. Today in India it is popular and the best-selling sedans. Since its launch the car is highly in demand and the company often has struggled to overcome the demand-supply. With the result in most cases the deliveries against bookings have had a long waiting period. Especially Swift Dzire diesel versions are more demand as they happen to be economical and most affordable entry level sedan of the country.

New Maruti Dzire is five seater notchback sedan that comes with both MPI, In-line, DOHC with 1197 cc displacement with four cylinder, sixteen valve petrol engine and MultiJet, DDiS, DOHC with 1248, 4-cylinder, 16-valve diesel engine with Common Rail fuel distribution.. Both engines are BS IV compliant and five speed manual gearbox transmission with synchromesh in all gears and one reverse gear as standard feature. As far as the exterior measurement is concerned, new Maruti Swift DZire wheelbase, length, width, height and ground clearance dimensions in mm are 2390, 4160, 1690, 530 and 170 respectively. The front track has 1470 mm and the rear track is 1480 mm and the minimum turning radius of DZire is 4.7 m.

Speaking about the chassis of Maruti Dzire, it has the rack and pinion type steering wheel with pinion system being electronic power assisted; it has ventilated disc front brakes and rear drum brakes. Its front suspension is MacPherson strut and coil spring, rear suspension is torsion beam and coil spring respectively.

Last but not the least, all the Maruti Swift Dzire variants come with tubeless tyres with steel wheels with 165/80 R 14 inch size in the LXi, VXi, LDi and VDi variants and alloy wheels with 185/70 R with 14 inch size in the ZXi and ZDi variants.
